This second floor apartment is situated on the Los Moriscos golf complex of Playa Granada and the beachfront between Motril and Salobrena. This popular 18 hole course and golf club is only a pleasurable 5 minute walk away, as is the Los Moriscos bar, restaurant and the beach. Apartment Jarlath offers magnificent views across both the 3rd and 4th holes of the golf course and along the coastline to Salobrena.  Often described as one of the prettiest towns in the south of Spain with its winding narrow Moorish style streets and the Arab castle perched high on the hill, Salobrena shines white during the day and sparkles at night.

Apartment Jarlath is fully air-conditioned and consists of 2 bedrooms (one double and a twin), 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), a dining room/sitting room and a kitchen.  The interior is decorated to a high standard that includes cream marble tiles, double-glazed windows and ceramic-tiled bathrooms and kitchen.

The modern kitchen and laundry area comes fully equipped with; a four ring electric hob and oven, family-sized microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster and complete sets of crockery and cookware to satisfy every need.

The apartment has a well thought out floorplan, with the sleeping areas nicely separated from the main dining and sitting areas.  The dining/sitting room can either be closed off, so those wishing to stay up late can carry on without disturbing those tucked in for the evening, or be turned into a further sleeping area with a single sofa bed.

Designed to take full advantage of its position on the Mediterranean coast, guests will undoubtedly appreciate the regions microclimate, subtropical in character, a warm and gentle 18 degrees in winter and an average of 25 degrees in summer.  Guests have full access to the large well-maintained swimming pool on site (open 1 June to 30 September).  Swimmers and sun-worshippers preferring to paddle the surf and feel the sand under their toes are only a short stroll away from the beaches.

Playa Granada is the sort of place that you could easily make yourself at home in for the length of your stay.  At the same time, if exploring the area is more to your liking, you can rest assured that you are ideally located for any number of day trips.  The fascinating Alpujarras villages are even closer to you than the beautiful, culturally rich city of Granada (approximately 50 minutes drive), home to the famous Alhambra Palace, last stand of the Moors.  Skiing is also available up in the Sierra Nevada mountains overlooking Granada, a 90 minute drive from the apartment.

Or 50 minutes west along the coast you could find yourself in Nerja, a longtime favourite destination and home to some excellent Irish pubs, Indian curry houses and many a happy expat.  Don't miss the real Spanish side of this town such as the caves and the architecture such as the humble local church and the stunning Balcon de Europa are both worth a visit.

However, although a car is recommended for this property, it is possible to get about by bus.  Situated approximately 10 minutes by car/bus in either direction are the towns of Salobrena and Motril, where you will find everything from fresh food markets and boot sales to large supermarkets with convenient parking.

Salobrena is a charming castle-topped town with the delightful white-washed buildings and picturesque streets in its old quarter and idyllic restaurants situated along the beach. Motril is a bustling modern Spanish city with a wide selection of designer shops, cafes, great tapas bars, fine restaurants and a lively nightlife.

Whether you are a large family or a group of friends wanting to ski, swim, sun-bathe, play golf or tennis, go horse riding, quad-biking or walking we are confident that Apartment Jarlath is a perfect backdrop for a relaxing, unforgettable holiday.
