Location: Gualchos
Short Description: 4 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, Private Garden, Terrace/Balcony, BBQ, Furniture Included, Kitchen Fixtures & Fittings,
Type: Property for Sale

A great opportunity to purchase a spacious two storey 400 year old Moorish village house in the pretty Andalucian village of Gualchos and only a 10 minute drive to the beaches of Castell de Ferro.

The house could do with some updating and the private garden with views to the coast could be enlarged greatly by removing the old animal house situated next to the garden, perhaps even for a swimming pool! Otherwise, the old animal house would make a great store or work room.

The village of Gualchos, with approximately 800 inhabitants, is situated 5 kms above the coastal town of Castell de Ferro. The village retains its Spanish charm and has been unspoilt by tourism. Gualchos has a bakery, a small supermarket, an ice cream shop, a small market for fish and meat, bars and two restaurants.

There are two roads leading to the village. The first road is from Castell de Ferro and the N340 coastal road and takes 10 minutes to get to the village. The second road is from Motril and takes 20 minutes with some breathtaking views en-route. The town of Motril has plenty of shops, banks, restaurants, markets and large supermarkets for all shopping needs.
