If you love the great outdoors then Finca El Carril is surely the place for you. An oasis tucked away in the hills just outside the town of Velez de Benaudella with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.

Thirty minutes from the historic city of Granada and 20 minutes from the beaches of Motril and Salobrena on the Costa Tropical, Velez de Benaudella is a quaint village community with a supermarket, bank and several bars and restaurants. A larger selection of shops, restaurants, bars & supermarkets are found in nearby Motril and Salobrena.

This recently refurbished, modernised and tastefully decorated country property is hugely versatile catering for anything between 3 to 12 people. Comprising 5 large bedrooms (3 double, 2 twins), 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite), 2 cloakrooms and with full central heating throughout it is suitable for use all year round for walkers, golfers, skiers or those who love the countryside and just want to get away from it all.

Entering through the porchway and the substantial wooden front door you find yourself immediately in the large and spacious dining/sitting room.  The sitting area comprises two large sofas, cosy armchairs and a coffee table. There is a large open log fire, TV with free to view satellite channels and DVD.

The modern kitchen is well furnished throughout with double gas oven and hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, two fridge-freezers, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, blender and a washing machine.

Further expanding the cooking options there are two brick built BBQ’s on the shaded and covered terrace (child friendly as it is fenced and gated) accessed from the sitting room with three sets of wrought iron patio furniture that can seat up to 12. On the other side of the BBQ area there is a 70 m2 sun terrace.

On the ground floor and sitting area is a door to a small hallway leading to a cloakroom and a large double bedroom with matching bedside tables and lamps and a fitted double wardrobe. There are views of the BBQ area and out over the sun terrace.

The main hall is accessed from the sitting area with a large bathroom with an elegant roll top bath, two basins and a loo. Further along the hallway is a double bedroom.

Moving up the marble staircase to the first floor there are two further bedrooms and another bathroom. One double bedroom and a twin bedroom with pine furniture. The second bathroom on this level has a large shower, a basin and a loo.

Leading off to the right through a door at the top of the stairs is a second sun terrace, a real sun trap, with castle like walls and terrific views. This terrace can also be accessed via an external wrought iron staircase. Crossing this terrace is another door which leads to the fifth bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom comprising of shower, basin and loo. This bedroom also affords splendid views out across the valley.

Outside the property you will find extensive mature terraced gardens containing a wide variety of fruit and olive trees, adequate parking for 2/3 cars and access to a delightful 13m x 7m swimming pool. Indeed this property is perfect for those who like the outdoor life.
